Disciples in all degree programs of the Divinity School and the Graduate Department of Religion as well as non-Disciples in those programs are welcome to apply to live in the Disciples House. The House is an intentional community of students who share common concern for faith seeking understanding in the Disciple tradition and a commitment to community and justice within an ecumenical academic setting. Thus, it is much more than either a residence hall or an apartment complex.
Disciples applying to the Masters of Divinity degree program at Vanderbilt may also apply for additional scholarship support from the Disciples House with the Scholarship Application downloadable below. Support for Disciple MDiv students is merit-based and awarded for the duration of the degree program, subject to certain requirements for demonstrating satisfactory progress and fitness for ministry, broadly defined.

Housing Application
Disciples House has ten two-room apartments and ten single rooms sharing a bath and an available common kitchen. Rents are significantly lower than Vanderbilt area rents. The House is close to campus in the booming Midtown neighborhood. The subsidized rent also includes parking, utilities, storage, laundry facilities, indoor and outdoor common areas, and community activities. Various fees also apply. Read and download below.
